Brooke Cason

- Biography:
For Brooke Thomas Cason, deepest tragedy struck at a very young age with the loss of her mother to melanoma. Brooke says that God provided her a loving mother when her father J.C. married a Brenda, also. Along with her dad, Brenda Thomas began to nurture Brooke in the things of God. Even then God began to demonstrate His plan for her life. Brooke was “chosen” as Labron’s wife when she was in first grade, where Brenda, Labron’s mother, volunteered in Labron’s classroom. Brenda Robinson prayed for Brooke at that time and knew in her heart that she would one day be Labron’s companion, but had no realization of how God’s plan would unfold.
Brooke waged her own battle with pre-cancer cells and states unequivocally that God has healed her. She has developed a perspective for life that speaks of God’s sovereignty. Brooke will quickly fall to her knees to pray for the lost or those seeking direction. Brooke says she embraces the truth of the word found in Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"
Brooke has excelled in everything she attempts. She was captain of her high school cheerleading squad. As a senior, she graduated 5th in her class of approximately 200 students. Also, to her credit, she is a Dental Hygienist.
God endowed Brooke with the rare ability to sing and harmonize in any female part. She has even arranged an old Gospel favorite that enables her to sing the bass line of “I’ll Have a New Life.” Her versatility does not stop there. She is capable of singing many sacred styles of music. Since 1998, Brooke has recorded numerous music projects while serving in New Desire Christian Ministries.
Her passion is ministering the powerful Word to young women. She co-authored the book “Restructuring Your World-Young Adult Edition”, where she, along with Brenda teaches how to survive the pitfalls of youth. They also team up to teach the youth teen girl conferences. These are events designed for spiritual growth in learning dependence on God.
Brooke is often seen driving the Coach across America, giving Dan a break. She jumps right in and assists with anything going, but her responsibilities are vital in managing the website, the New Desire products, as well as scheduling and coordinating bookings. Brooke serves as Executive Secretary for New Desire Christian Ministries, Inc.
Brooke and Labron’s delight is their son Caleb, who travels and makes cameo appearances with New Desire. He is celebrated for his rendition of “Ain’t No Grave,” and “The Three Little Pigs.”
