"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall MAKE you free." - Dan Robinson

It is the seemingly common quote at the top of the page that sets Dan's preaching apart from the ordinary. Have you ever noticed that most people (and many of our Christian songs and hymns) don't say that the truth will MAKE us free? It's usually referred to as "set" free. Scripture, however, doesn't teach that truth sets us free; scripture teaches that truth MAKES us free.

Dan Robinson has truly been anointed by God with the gift of preaching. His powerful sermons bring to light the truth of God's Word in ways that most of us have never heard. Having spent countless hours of time truly studying God's Word and its principles, Dan can bring to life the meaning of God's Word rather than just telling its stories in a new way.

For many years, Dan thought he had it all: cars, boats, motorcycles, and everything else he dreamed of. He was on the mountaintop, then one day the mountain caved in. When Brenda's seizures started, Dan and Brenda slowly began to lose all of the treasures they had built up in this life. In just a few short months, they were in the lowest and longest valley they had ever gone through.

For six long years, they struggled through the valley, but in that valley they saw God in a whole new way*. The lower the valley descended, the closer they drew to God.God was faithful to Dan in that valley, and He remains faithful today. Dan, as a husband, a father, and president of New Desire Christian Ministries, has put God's faithfulness to the test many times and in many ways, and God has always proven faithful. Dan knows the truth about God's faithfulness, and that MAKES him free from the worries of God letting him down.
