A Message from Our Missions Director, Gaby
 
Greetings from Honduras! It has been a busy time in Honduras since the last newsletter. God continues to provide for our feeding kitchen weekly as we are feeding approximately 800 children weekly. It blesses our hearts to know that our children are getting at least two hot, nutritious meals four days a week. We had a team from Alabama come and they had Children’s Day with the children in La Ermita and Church on the Mountain. They did Bible lessons, music, face painting, games, and pinatas. This was some of the children’s first time to ever experience face painting. The things we take for granted in the states is something precious that will never be forgotten in Honduras. The team also did youth night down by a lake. It was a great night of fellowship, and two youth gave their lives to Christ. That is “Our Why” of everything we do in this ministry is to see souls saved and lives changed.
Our Missions Director, Gaby and her husband Oscar, are true blessings to our lives and ministry, as well as our leaders. They have such servants’ hearts in La Ermita area and the surrounding locations near there. However, what stands out the most to me is knowing that our missionaries that God called to New Desire Honduras are missionaries to other parts of Honduras that never see any outside people other than the ones who live there. The location of Honduras that Gaby and Oscar travel to is about 6 hours away and it’s in the mountains of Honduras where you must travel by foot. This blesses our hearts so much that New Desire can be a part of helping other parts of Honduras. The Great Commission says to “GO” and that is what we are doing. We are going into those parts of the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the utter most parts of the world. Humbled and blessed to say the least. Gaby shared these words about the experience to the mountain. Children's day!! A very special day for all our Honduran children!  All schools, churches and even high schools do something special for the little ones. One thing that we have learned is that it is better to give than receive and it is incredible to see how God uses all of us as a team to go and share not just food, piñatas, candies, drinks, games, and toys, but that precious gift that last forever, Eternal Life that is just found in Jesus Christ. The pictures don’t really tell what our eyes saw and experienced. We all have needs and ours kids here have needs, but if we could only see further that there are people in places that nobody will go and they feel forgotten, but now they know that God is there and that thanks to His amazing love He moves in hearts. There are no words to thank Him and all the people who donated toward this project because without you all it would not be possible. It just humbles me to see my husband cutting hair and how the kids and even adults were waiting to have their hair cut with Yuleisi helping him. God has blessed me with an incredible Godly man who has the most genuine heart to serve. Rene, Isis, Yuleisi and Oscar painted faces and it just trilled my heart to see the kids smiles showing one another what they have!!

We are thankful to be back out on the road, and we couldn’t be more excited to be back doing what we love and what God has called us to do! We are honored to be back in God’s House sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. New Desire Stateside has been in Maryville, Tennessee, Honduras, Adairsville, Georgia, and we have many more bookings in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama with Women’s Conferences, Revivals, Marriage Retreats and another trip to Honduras during Thanksgiving. • Constant Prayer and Monthly Sponsors
• Children in need of Sponsorships for our Educating Ambassadors for Christ Educational Program. $150 per child will provide school for a year
• Sponsors for our Feeding Program each week. It costs $150 per week to feed our elders and school kids in our feeding program and now we are providing for two churches. We are now in need of an extra $500 per month to feed 4 meals weekly in La Ermita and at the Mountain Church
• Approximately $8800 to complete the inside of the Sunday School Building

A Message from Our Missions Director, Gaby
 
Hello Everyone, what an amazing year it has been so far. God has been so Good to my people and there are no words to thank Him for how He used you all to be His feet and hands.  Nothing here would be done without each one of you who supports financially and by praying for us.
Three months are almost done and what a wonderful time it has been. God has provided different ways to reach out to more people, to share the gospel of His Great Love to everyone we get to be in touch with. We want to thank each one of you for sponsoring a child in our Ambassadors for Christ Sponsorship Program. You are making a difference in their lives just as someone did with me when I was little. Thanks to your support they can go to school and receive an education that wouldn’t happen without the support of people like you. They are also receiving a hot full meal three times a week and something on Sundays.  We are thankful for some Friends “Lion's Heart Project” that have partnered with us to provide school supplies and backpacks in two different schools in faraway mountains.  We also were able to provide for another school and we always share the gospel, give Bibles, and the seed is planted in the hearts, and we know God is going to do amazing things in those places that He has allowed us to go.
The well continues to be a huge blessing. We provide water for our community weekly and in times of thirst we do it even more.  This is another amazing way that God has given to share His love and about the water that will last forever, The Water of Eternal Life. Mark 16:15 says, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
We serve a great God, and we are humble to see how our people are receiving Christ and rededicating their lives to HIM. He has provided the ways to go and share!

New Desire Stateside Events
 
New Desire started the year off with its 28th Annual Women’s Conference in Breman, Georgia at the Sewell Mill Event Center. The 28th Women’s Conference was simply Amazing. The singing by the David Chasity Dedman Family and The Atlanta Choir was so anointing, powerful, and Spirit Filled is just a little to describe the Presence of God that was in that place. It set the tone for Brenda to teach us about being Molded by The Master and Being Molded in His Image. God used Brenda in such a mighty way, and she was so effective and anointed and used by the Lord. Hearts and lives were touched and changed, and we give all honor and glory to Him. Thank you to Pam Atcheson for being the emcee, singing, and testifying. We love and appreciate you so much. Thank you to each one who had a part in the annual conference. Your service does not go unnoticed. Dan and Brenda spent a week at Moss Hill Baptist in New Albany, Mississippi where they did a Women’s Conference, Men’s Conference, and revival throughout the week. They started out on Sunday about the importance of family and God began to work in the hearts and lives of the people. These people were so hungry for the WORD of God. They had a wonderful week, and we appreciate the hospitality of Moss Hill and Neely Baptist for all your love and support.
We are thankful to be back out on the road, and we couldn’t be more excited to be back doing what we love and what God has called us to do! Covid had everything in slow motion as far as going into churches speaking and preaching. We are honored to be back in God’s House sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have revivals and Women’s Conferences already starting to book for 2022. A Message from Dan and Brenda
 
                                                    Finishing Well
When we study the life of Daniel, we see a life whose faith in the one true God stood the test of time, turbulence, and testing. Daniel was one of the few who was chosen by God to fulfill God’s plan that did finish well throughout Scripture. Daniel stood on his convictions that there wasn’t but one infinite true God. Daniel was thrown in the lion’s den, witnessed God show Himself true as his three friends were thrown into the fiery furnace. Daniel knew that God was with him regardless of what appeared to be doom, disaster, and death. New Desire is blessed to say that we have also faced what appeared to be the same scenarios that Daniel faced. I’m reminded of the Scripture that tells us that our Great High Priest was also touched with the same infirmities and temptations that we have been touched with but without sin. I would be fibbing to say I have not sinned or been touched with infirmities this year. As a matter of fact, through Covid alone I have felt like our ministry has been under attack from day one. I know my family was gravely attacked with Covid in a horrific way. Five members of my immediate family fought it at the same time including Dan. However, in that fiery furnace God allowed me to stay healthy to be able to care for my husband, both sons and my grandchildren. Dan and I have so much to praise Him for. Our lion’s den has come through many attacks against our ministry, but God turned those battles into the most precious God ordained blessings that, while in the den we could not see. The two years that Covid shut things down, the ministry was protected, blessed, and provided for in every aspect. We continued to function financially, we ministered more effectively in both the United States and in Honduras. More so than before Covid hit. We have two Churches full of loving congregations and the anointing of God in both La Ermita, Honduras and on the mountain of Talanga, Honduras. God blessed us with a native of Honduras pastor and great Honduran leaders. In spite of the ministry testing, I feel we can say God allowed us to finish well. We have watched both Churches grow in number but most importantly in salvations and spiritual growth. Our desire is to be effective in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Finishing well in pleasing God and being obedient to His will is what matters to Dan and me as well as with our Board of Directors. Dear friends, Daniel finished well in his service to the Lord and our desire is to finish not only this year well but also to find ourselves pleasing to all of you who make this ministry effective through your financial support, your prayers, and your encouragement. We could not finish well without all of you. Because of your participation in this ministry, we were able to see our personal ministry visions fulfilled this year. I will list them for you so you can know and rejoice with us that you, too, finished well. Our vision was to feed both Churches at least four days per week. We are doing that and are feeding over 800 children and elders weekly. Our vision was to complete the Sunday School and activities building that is being completed as I write this. Our vision was to reach more with the Gospel through personal counseling and discipling on stateside we have watched that come to fruition.  We had a vision to build pilas and bathrooms for the people of Honduras that happened. We prayed for another utility truck to haul water to families from God’s well with God’s water. That truck was bought and paid in full the day it was purchased. Stateside was kept extra busy during Covid with private counseling, marriage retreats and private women’s conferences. We cannot thank you all enough for all you do for this ministry. Thank you from our hearts to yours for making sure New Desire Christian Ministries has finished well in the year 2021. Do we have a vision for this ministry in 2022? YES, we do! Please stay tuned through our website and Ministry Facebook page for that vision information. Remember, without a vision the people perish.

God is so Good, and He is so faithful! Dan and Brenda did a 10-day service in Mississippi and God told them that Honduras needed more feedings and to step out on faith just as they had always done and begin feeding 4 days a week serving breakfast to both churches. Breakfast is such a vital part of a person’s day and especially to a third world country where basically one meal a day is all that most people receive. Well Praise God, both churches started feeding four days a week. We believed God would provide the money for the increase in feedings and He did! Thanksgiving Week, a team came to build the Sunday School/Activity Building on the concrete pad that was poured in November 2019. They got the top and sides finished and closed in. They will finish the inside later when we return. We are still in need of funds to finish and furnish the inside of the building. We still need about $4500 to finish the inside of the building. Please pray about giving to help complete our building for our kids and youth. The church is super excited to have this wonderful space for Sunday School classes, sewing classes, computer lab, and youth events. Will Spears will be taking a team to Honduras on December 11 for a three-day youth retreat and his team will also be doing projects. Please be in prayer for this team of college students as they prepare for their trip and as God uses them according to His will. Christmas in Honduras will be a blessing. Over 200 pairs of shoes will be distributed to the children and youth and tubs of food will be given to each family from La Ermita and Church on the Mountain in Talanga. We can’t thank you enough for all that support the ministry. Without your support, we could not do what we do. Thank you for giving to the Lord! To God Be the Glory!
