From The Heart
It Will Come

Scripture Reading: Romans 8:31
"If God be for us, who can be against us?"
I have definitely learned that with age comes physical unrest. The past few weeks it seems that every part of my body had told me it is tired. Every muscle I have aches and even those I didn’t know I have has greeted me through pain or spasms.
I used to work out religiously but again, with age I have slacked in that category as well. I take the Scripture “For bodily exercise profiteth little” out of context for my excuse. However, my unrest is not only physical but spiritual.
My inward man has to be renewed every day. My relationship and intimacy also gets slack and achy when I neglect the exercise of God’s Word in my mind and my spirit.
Precious friends, I must confess I have experienced a week of warfare that is indescribable. I know the enemy seeks to devour me. He knows the buttons to push of this old flesh. He pushes them to the limits at times. Romans 13:12-14 says, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
I find great comfort in my times of unrest just knowing that satan can attack and throw darts only with God’s permission. My unrest settles when I remember that the devil cannot have nor take my life. My God is for me.
I have slept very little this week but in my sleepless nights I have cried out to the Lord. I have opened His infallible Word and God has spoken, comforted and cradled me in His presence. He has affirmed that my warfare is due to my obedience to God in going into a third world country next week (Honduras) where satanic presence dominates.
From my heart to yours I pray that you will see the enemy and his tactics in your times of unrest. Remember, if you are serving God, IT WILL COME! Our Scripture text is our promise and our strength. “If God be for us, who can be against us?” Therefore, I will glory in my warfare. I know that great things are going to happen for the sake of Jesus Christ as I and my staff enter this mission field.

Brenda, I've also experienced warfare this week. I'm trying to serve the Lord, and satan is coming against me full force. I've been listening to you teach via DVD, and it's really been a blessing. I really have gained strength from your presentations. I just love you!
everyone i know is uder attack. around here i've noticed that anything said or done has been under attack. I have learned that God is the only one i can talk to because he loves me so much that he will talk back to me through his words' that's why i call god friend because we communicate and share things . I get to talk to him at anytime which is a blessing.no wonder friendships don't last. we don't talk to people or share the good and bad things that are going on.wonder how long god would put up with us treating others this way. God forgive me and help me to be a better person and friend.
