From The Heart
Is Anything Too Hard for God?

Scripture Reading: Genesis 18:14a
Is anything too hard for the Lord?
I have shared occasionally over the last few months the difficulty as well as the rewards of evangelism. I shared how hard it was to load the coach or board a plane and have to leave my family and grandchildren behind, while at the same time leaving with a hope and excitement of the lives that God will use through this ministry to change a life, save a soul, or give hope to the hurting.
We don't see those changes in every service. However, we serve living on the promise that God said His Word "shall not return unto me void…" The long trips and family sacrifices are worth every mile. When the old flesh wants to wallow in pity and the enemy seeks to discourage, destroy, and persuade me to land in the hanger, the voice of God comes across loud and clear not only with Scripture but through the support of family members. For example just recently (October 16th), my daughter-in-law Heather sent me two pictures of my beautiful granddaughter through my text messaging on my phone. They arrived in God's perfect timing. Little Kylie was sitting on a pony with a smile on her face and not a care in the world. Oh, how my heart smiled when the pictures came through.
Oh how my heart smiled when after the women's conference that same day one of the ladies told me the lesson I taught was as if God was having a personal conversation with her. My granddaughter's picture on a pony and the testimony of the young lady brings great joy to my heart. It is these things that lets me know and compels me to remind you from my heart and God's heart to be what God wants you to be. Regardless of what the journey requires, it is worth every mile, and nothing is too hard for God.
I thank God for a precious supportive family. I thank God for Kevin, Heather, Kylie, and my grandson Caleb for being willing to sacrifice our time together that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be spread abroad in the hearts of believers and unbelievers.

This reminds me of the scripture "Lay up for yourselves treasurers in heaven, where moth and rust cannot destroy and theives cannot break in and steal". And the song "Laying up my treasurers in that home obove, trusting really trusting in my Saviors love. Doing what I can for Heavens Holy Dove, I'm getting ready to leave this world" And it could be today, if not tomorrow. Love each one of you..
