Scripture Reading: Romans 4:20

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”

This Scripture verse leads us right into our next spiritual indicator. We are growing in the Lord when we sense our faith is growing stronger.

Abraham was a man whose faith was accounted to him for righteousness. This verse says “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in the faith, giving glory to God.”

We will never decrease fleshly until we get serious with Jesus and get in the Word of God. We will then begin to place our trust in Him as our faith in Him increases. Unbelief will never grow faith.

Fear will affect our faith. If we keep our eyes on Him, we will look back, not at our problems, but at our joy. Our faith will grow stronger, and we will be able to function. We must never let our fear overcome our faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

If we believe God’s Word that teaches small faith can produce stronger faith, then we become a Christian who is pleasing to God. God is increasing daily in our lives.

We will know if we are growing stronger in faith when we find ourselves sacrificing the things of the flesh for things of righteousness.

As we grow in the Lord, we will sense our faith growing stronger every day.
