Scripture Reading: Romans 12:2

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Scripture Reading: Romans 12:2

Grab hold of Jesus. If we get a grasp of Jesus, we will come into one mind and one accord. All our differences will melt, and we will all get along. Once we grab hold of Him, we will never want to let go. It is just like a caterpillar that changes into a butterfly. The butterfly never wants to go back to being a caterpillar. Once it realizes that it is a butterfly, it just wants to spread its wings and fly.

Our Scripture text tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. If we accept the transformation, we will love each other and we will love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind. If we really love Jesus, we will love our neighbor. We will do everything we can to lead our neighbor to Jesus. Jesus did not look at anyone with condemnation. He looked at everyone with love. Jesus did not save us to miss hell. He saves us to bring us back into fellowship with Him. Missing hell is just a bonus. He redeemed us so we can snuggle up next to Him and let Him love on us and us love on Him.

I believe there is a change in you if you have been born again. You have something inside you that makes you want to grab hold of Jesus. The reason many Christians are still worldly after getting saved is because they still think like the world. Just like the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, our minds should transform from things of worldliness to things of righteousness. Will you grab hold of Jesus? His arms are outstretched.
