Scripture Reading: Philippians 1:6

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Defying doubt means to resist or openly and boldly oppose it. If we are going to have an intimate courtship with Jesus Christ, we must boldly oppose the voice of doubt. We cannot build a relationship with God or anyone else if there is no trust. Doubt automatically makes us untrusting.

Don’t let doubt dwell in your life. We’ve already learned that God will give us the wisdom to deal with our doubts. Secure yourself in His will, and then do God’s will without looking back at the doubts.

God will give us the wisdom to deal with our doubts.

Choosing to live for God always brings doubt. Doubt is one of Satan’s finest weapons. Satan knows that if he can place doubt in your mind, then you are a target for deception. However, you can overcome if you know God’s will for your life.

Your doubts about God’s will for your life can be resolved by reading God’s Word. God’s Word is His voice to you, and it can be depended on to verify God’s will in your life. God will give us the wisdom to deal with our doubts. Thomas doubted God’s plan when he heard it from man, but when Thomas got the message from God he never doubted again. We should handle our doubts just as Thomas did. Seek God’s Word, listen for His voice, and trust Him.

We should confidently serve God and praise Him for using us. Our Scripture text for today says, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” If God began a work in you, He will be faithful to finish it. If you are a born again child of God, you have a power inside of you that will not let you quit on God. That power is the Holy Spirit within you. He will never leave you nor forsake you; He will guide you in your work for the Lord.

When Peter walked on the water, he began to doubt, “and immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” (Matthew 14:31) Jesus’ hand is stretched out to you now. Defy the doubt and take His hand!

Satan sure loves to try to make me doubt, and sometimes I have wanted just to quit and give up on everything cause it seems at times no matter what I done or how much I tryed it didn't seem to get any better...But, I am so thankful that God didn't let me quit, I started trusting Him and then I seen things falling into place, not saying I don't sometimes worry and let satan make me doubt occasionally but I know that God will work all things out if I just give it to Him..Thanks for these posts...love you..
