Weekend Update
by Brooke Cason
New Desire had such a wonderful weekend in the Lord. We pulled our Friday headed to Newnan to set up for the women's conference at Westside Baptist Church for Saturday. They had such a wonderful turn out and Brenda was in rare form. Her teaching was out of this world. She taught on the Crowns of Christians. It was absolutley amazing at what God showed her to bring out on all the crowns that the Bible speaks of. I haven't heard this speech in forever, and I've never heard it like it was Saturday. Of course, anytime I hear a speech over it's never the same as the time before. That also amazes me!
Saturday night we sang in Woodland, AL at Prospect Methodist Church and it broke out into testimony service. That's what we love to see. We love it when there is liberty and people obey the Lord.
Sunday morning we were in Cave Springs, GA at Live Oak Baptist Church to sing for their morning service. Their pastor delivered a great message about being about the Father's business. We should always be willing to serve in whatever area the Lord wants us to serve in.
Sunday night we sang at Adairsville First Baptist Church.........Man it was GREAT! The Lord showed up and showed out. We always love it when that happens. The Spirit was so real in that place. Those people were ready to worship, and there was such liberty in that place. Testimonies were given about miracles in people's lives...the greatest miracle of all is SALVATION! That within itself is a miracle that God would choose us to be His child and allow us to serve in His work. What a mighty God we serve!!!
We would love for anyone who can to join us this Thursday at the 3rd Annual NEGA Women's Conference in Hartwell, GA at Cornerstone Baptist Church. The conference starts at 6:30 PM. We would love to see you there. If you would like further information, please contact our office and we will give you the number to the person with the tickets.
We will then be going to the Singing in the Sun at Myrtle Beach, SC for Friday and Saturday. Then we have a busy Sunday in South Carolina. If you are close to any of these areas, we would love to see familiar faces!
In Christ,
Brooke

You are right the singing sat. night at Prospect Church was such a wonderful time in the Lord. There was times during the service I felt I could just rise up and walk straight into heaven, and from comments of others I wasn't the only one who felt that way. Thank you for your ministry both in song and words. We enjoyed the fellowship afterwards and pray you will come back, I would like to make it a yearly thing and will be in touch. Am truly enjoying the cds. May God bless and keep you all and continue to use you. I also thank God for Prospect and the chance to serve Him there with music. Love to all, Linda
