South Carolina Update

Well folks, it was a busy weekend but a very joyous weekend. We headed out Thursday morning for a women's conference in Hartwell, GA which went great. The women were responsive of Brenda's teaching on "The Proposal." We all had a great time in the Lord. We left from there and headed to Myrtle Beach, SC for a convention, "Singing in the Sun." If you have never attended this, it is much like National Quartet Convention, but smaller and much more Spiritual. They have singing from a lot of different groups, preaching from a different preacher each night, and a lot of fun! These people know how to bring God in to the midst of what we do. We sang for the showcase on Friday and got a great response from the people. We had to leave on Saturday due to having to sing on Sunday morning in Lancaster, SC. Man did the Lord show up in that place. We had ourselves a great time. These people wanted to worship and wanted to feel the Spirit of the Lord. We left there and went to Coward, SC for a singing at Bible Temple. They had a great morning service which flowed over into the night service. They were ready to testify, pray, give God glory and most of all....worship. We didn't return home until 3:30 AM on Monday. Dan and I drove all night to get us back home in time for Caleb to go to school. We enjoyed having him on the bus during his Spring Break, but now it's back to school! He wasn't very excited about that at all.
Us girls head out on Wednesday evening for the 2nd Annual Woman 2 Woman Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN. If you have never attended one of these, you should try it! We have such a great time in the Lord. Brenda teaches each day, we eat home cooked meals (every meal), fellowship, and have so much fun. We love this time with the ladies. We have this retreat about the same time each year. God allows us to feel His Holy presence in that serene place. Please pray for our safety as we travel.
If you are close to the Calhoun, GA area, we are in revival at Riverview Baptist Church all next week starting Sunday night. Please come join us.

Sounds like a very busy weekend yall had and a busy week ahead...I cannot imagine driving that big ole bus, your just about to litttle to drive it..lol..Will be thinking of yall this week and God bless you all.......
Brooke, I love reading these updates each week. Thank you for posting them. Since I've never been able to have the privelege of seeing you all in person, the updates are the next best thing. I hope to be able to get to see you one day. Being totally blind makes it difficult to get places you really want to go. My mom and I are thinking of moving to Milwaukie Wesconsin in a few months. Do yall ever come that far north? Would you be willing to do something like that? I'm praying for you on a daily basis. I just love you!
