Well folks....just call me the SLACKER! I didn't blog again last week due to being so busy with LIFE! My mind was focused on working and Labron. We went to Emory Medical Center last week to visit with a liver specialist about Labron's condition. He gave us the most awesome news ever. Labron will always have the disease, but should not ever get liver cancer or cirrhosis. He should never have to have another liver biopsy again!!! The pain that he lives in may or may not ever go away. It is not caused by the disease itself, but the doctor told us to praise God that the pain was there which brought him to the doctor to begin with. Most of the time when they catch this disease, the patient is already in liver failure and will never get better. He told Labron to just pray that the pain will go away now that we know what's wrong with him. The only diagnosis for the pain that he could give us is "RIGHT UPPER QUADRANT PAIN." He just said it was a "thing" that he would have to muscle up and deal with. Now that gave me a great relief, but I'm not the one living in the pain. I'm just so thankful that we don't have to worry about the disease  killing him. We ask you to join us in prayer that God will deliver him from the pain. GOD IS SO GOOD!

New Desire had a very busy weekend this past weekend. We got home around 2:30 AM this morning. We headed out Friday afternoon for Lancaster, SC. We set up and got ready for the women's conference at Eastside Baptist Church. It was awesome. Brenda did some wonderful teaching. The men had to leave us for North Carolina. They had to be at a wildgame supper for Dan to preach in Hendersonville, NC at Ebenezer Baptist Church. We also sang for their church on Sunday morning and Dan preached again. We had a wonderful service in the Lord. God moved in the hearts of the people during that service. We pray that broken hearts were mended, families will bind together, and lives were changed.

We left from there and headed back to Hartwell, GA. We sang and Dan preached for Abundant Life Baptist Church. Another great service. Dan thinks he's something now getting to preach 3 times in a weekend! Just kidding, but he really did enjoy the presence of the Lord and the movement in these places.
