Brenda had a wonderful time in the Lord at the private retreat that she taught at for an assisted living home this past week. She said that it was an amazing week to see how the Lord used her to minister to the women in a "secular" environment. Of course we all know that Brenda's teaching revolved completely around God and was very intense for the ladies that attended. They walked away renewed and can now face their jobs with a different perspective. I think that it's wonderful to know that people are still hungering for the WORD!

New Desire has learned through the mall experience and the assisted living retreat that people everywhere are hungering and thirsting for righteousness. It doesn't matter what environment that you are in, someone needs to hear the Gospel. We know that He has assigned New Desire to enter into these places to spread His truth! Luke 14:23 says, "And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

We pray that you all had a wonderful 4th of July. We are now in revival at our home church and Labron and I are having an amazing time in the Lord. The Spirit has been so real. We have so needed this and look forward to it every year. Please keep us in your prayers that God will continue to bless our little church.

We head out Thursday morning for the "Girls Glorifying God" retreat. We can't wait to see what God is going to do at Lake Guntersville during this retreat. God has really dealt with us over what material to deliver and we can't WAIT!!!!
