New Desire is Back at Work
by Brooke Cason
We trust that you all had a very Merry and Blessed CHRISTmas as we did. We enjoyed the quality time that we had with our family and friends. We thank God for His almighty provision for our ministry during the holidays as well as every day of the year. He has shown Himself to be faithful once again.
I love to think about what the CHRISTmas season is all about....the birth of Christ. I can remember as a young girl that my dad would read the Christmas story to us each year at this time. We always sat down in front of him as listened intently while he read from the Bible. Now the grandkids are big enough that they are reading it to us each year. That was a true blessing to listen to Caleb, my niece and nephew read to us straight from the Word of God. That made me so proud. It's a reminder every year that Christmas isn't about giving or receiving gifts, but it's about the one true ETERNAL gift that was born in Bethlehem and was willing to give His life so that we may have eternal life with Him. Christmas has lost its meaning in many homes, but I'm so thankful that we are reminded every year without failing to read about the birth of Christ. Thanks Dad for making us do this!
Well it's the day after Christmas and we are back at work preparing for the conference. I hope that you are planning to attend. It's going to be so different this year and it would mean a lot to Brenda if you plan to attend. She is celebrating 20 years in women's ministry and she is so excited about what all is planned to take place at the conference. IT'S GOING TO BE GOOD!!!!! You don't want to miss it.
I pray that you have a Happy New Year! Be safe!
In Christ,
Brooke
