Mountain City, TN and the Studio
by Brooke Cason
The weekend went by so fast. We headed out on Friday evening headed to TN for the weekend. We had to do a women's conference, youth conference and sing for Central Baptist Church and Evergreen Baptist Church. Brenda caught a bug after lunch on Sunday and got really sick during Sunday night's sound check so Labron, Danny Ray and I had to do the service. I was a little nervous about having to emcee, but all went well. The Spirit of the Lord came down in that place. The Lord really used Labron when he did the altar call. It wasn't the same without them, but we did what we had to do and God blessed!
We kicked off the new project this week. We were in the studio on Tuesday doing tracks ALLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYY! We started at 9:30 AM and didn't finish until after midnight. It's going to be great! The music was so anointed. The guys that played for us are wonderful people in the Lord.
Thank you Charlie for coming and hanging out with us in the studio. It was great having you.
I can't wait to hear the final product! I'm so excited about the songs going on this project. I think you will all enjoy it...if you don't, please don't tell us...ha, ha!
Please be in much prayer for our marriage retreat this coming weekend. Pray that God uses Dan and Brenda to touch, save, and revitalize marriages!
In Christ,
Brooke

I wanted to let you all know what a blessing you are. It started with the Women's Conf. on to the Youth Rally, but the Sunday School time with Sis. Brenda and Bro. Dan is what helped me so much. I love my husband very much. I had been struggling with paying tithes for a long time. My husband had not been paying tithes and the reasons are lame really, but to him they were real. I had prayed for sometime for God to show him the importance of it, but it never changed. Sunday morning Bro. Dan taught on it and the things he said hit home in a big way. Some of the things he said was exactly what my husband needed to hear. We came home Sunday and he said we have to start tithing. I was getting paid that following Friday and he had made the decision to pay tithes not matter what happened. Well a lot happened that next week. Tuesday a pipe on our water tank broke we were without water Tues. night and half of Wed. Thurs. morning we got up and the fridge had died so we had to buy a new fridge, we lost all the food in the fridge and the freezer, then he went to get in the car and it wouldn't start so it had to be towed, thank the Lord for warranties. So all in all we had to pay $65.00 to get the water going and $597.00 for a new fridge. But come Sunday morning the tithes went in the offering plate. I have never been so happy to pay my tithes. I know it all was the devil trying to discourage us and defeat us, but I am so thankful my husband made a decisionand stuck with it and did the right thing. Plese continue to pray for us that this will beve again be an issue. Thank you for all you do and the ministry you have you are a true blessing to all you meet. God bless you all. T Roberts
