Mother's Day
by Brooke Cason
I pray that you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. I can say that I had a wonderful and enjoyable weekend with my family. We took time to just spend together doing whatever we took a notion to do. We rode horses, went to trade day, had Labron a surprise 30th birthday party, and spent time with our families. It was so great to have some family time. Caleb was so excited that we got to do what HE wanted to do this weekend. The Lord blessed us with beautiful weather and some relaxation.
For all you mother's: I pray that your Mother's Day was filled with blessings and great quality time with your children, in-laws, and grandchildren. I love to look at Caleb and see what a gift God blessed me with. I think that being a mother is one of the most wonderful gifts that God could ever bless us with besides salvation. I love being a mother. It is challenging sometimes, but with life....we face many challenges. The love that I have for him and that he has for me is amazing. I know that only God could bond a mother and child together like we are bonded.
It's back to work this weekend though. We have a fairly full weekend planned on the road. We will be in Wadley, AL doing some youth services on Friday night and Saturday morning. We then get to be close to home on Sunday morning in Rockmart, GA at Lakeview Baptist Church. If you are close to any of these places, we would love to see familiar faces in the crowd.
Please pray for safe travels.
Until Next Week,
Brooke
