New Desire had a great weekend in the Lord. We were in Bowdon, GA on Saturday morning doing a women's conference at Indian Creek Baptist Church. They had a great turn out and the service was wonderful. Brenda spoke on "Showers of Blessings." The Lord used her in a mighty way.

We left from there and traveled on to Piedmont, AL. We had weather out a few storms with sirens going off all night. It got a little frightening a time or two while on the bus, but we were kept safe by God. We sang for Trinity Baptist Church's 31st Anniversary. Another good service. I thought for a moment that Dan was going to get stirred up and the preacher wasn't going to get to preach. Their associate preacher preached after we sang and then they fed us a WONDERFUL meal.

We headed back to GA to Tallapoosa to sing at Steadman Baptist Church. Boy did God send us a Spirit filled service. The Lord really showed up and showed out.

We would like to thank all of our supporters that came out this weekend. We would also like to thank each one of you that prayed for our group and our safety.

I have a special prayer request. Please be praying for my friend Stacey Carter. She started having seizures last Tuesday. She's in ICU and they aren't sure what's going on. Please pray that the doctors will be led by God and will figure this out. Pray for her family that they will see Him through all of this and grow closer to Him.
