Happy Belated New Years to you all from New Desire! We celebrated by having a cookout at Brenda and Dan's house on New Years Eve for all of our staff and board members. It was so much fun! The men grilled steaks and the women prepared the fixings. We had a great time of fellowship and bible study, and then followed up with some fun and games. I couldn't ask for any better  people to work and serve with.

We sang on Sunday night at Bethesda Fellowship in Cornelia, GA. The Spirit of the Lord was evident in the service. Brenda got stirred up and taught a portion of her speech, "Favored One" before she sang the song of the same title. I love to watch God work and allow all of New Desire to share with such liberty.

After the service, we headed to Charlotte, North Carolina to finish recording vocals for the new CD, "Living Loved." This CD is going to be amazing. New Desire has always been top notch, but they have really stepped it up on this project. Our favorite highlight from the studio this week was Caleb cutting his song, "Heroes," by the Isaacs. This song is very special to Caleb, and he takes it very seriously. On our way to the studio he was practicing his parts and he looked at Brooke and said, "Is it ok that I want to cry when I sing this song? I just feel it..." And he delivered it in the studio with that same conviction! This will be much different than his recording of "The Three Little Pigs" a couple of years ago. We can't wait for you to hear it.

We are back in the office today preparing for the 20th Annual Women's Conference. I have been flling ticket orders all morning. That is so exciting! I love when I come in to an inbox full of order forms. If you haven't ordered your tickets yet, remember that it is coming up NEXT month. Make preparations to buy yours soon. This is going to be the best year yet! We are celebrating in style and hope you will join us. We look forward to seeing you there.
