I would like to apologize to all of you for not writing about the conference before now. I have been very busy working, out of the country, and singing. It's not a good enough excuse, but here it is!

The annual women's conference was amazing. God was so there. Brenda taught on all the FEASTS OF THE TABERNACLES! You can just imagine how informative and wonderful that was. There was so much information that she taught on, but God gave her a way of delivering it without you feeling overwhelmed.  He amazes me at how He gives things to her in a different way and how she can deliver them to speak to all ages. The young, middle aged, and elderly just love her.

There were 8 salvations that we know of, and we are praising God and giving Him all the glory for those souls added to His Kingdom. We know that it's nothing that we do…not in our power, but all through His power and hands. We are just thankful and feel so blessed that He would use something like us as a tool to further His Kingdom. That amazes me! Why me Lord???? All He wants is a willing vessel and then He can do a work!

We did do something a little different this year. Instead of breaking the youth out into a different session, Brenda kept them in the sanctuary and spoke directly to them. We sectioned them off from the women, but the women still had to listen. I wish you could have been sitting where I was and watching the faces of those hungry and thirsty darling souls of the youth. They soaked everything up like little sponges. They love Brenda and her teaching. This worked well. Who knows how God will have her do it next year, but I'm sure whatever it is….IT'LL WORK!

We also debuted our new CD titled, "GRACE." This CD has some anointed songs lyrically on it. Some you may be familiar with and some new ones! We are loving the new songs. The message in them really hits the hearts of those who are sitting in the crowd and those of "us" performing them as well. These are the kind of songs that we look for when searching for new material for a project. If you haven't gotten your copy yet, you can now purchase it online in our store.

We just returned home from the cruise as well. It was a fantastic week of ministry. We got to be with others in the industry that we don't get to see often, friends that we don't get to spend a lot of time with except the week of the cruise, and got to make a lot of new friends. We would like to thank each of you that cruised with us this year and we pray that you are planning to be with us again next year. Those of you that are interested and have not signed up yet, please do so ASAP. This particular cruise sales out FAST! It is a wonderful week with fellow Christians who love the Lord, great Gospel singing, and amazing evangelistic preaching. You will love this cruise if you ever go with us. Make sure that you sign up under NEW DESIRE. We do special things for our cruisers every year. We want to be able to treat you well while on the cruise.

Please pray for Labron and Brenda. They have both had the flu. Labron got sick mid-week while on the cruise and when we returned home, I took him to the ER and he tested positive for the flu. Brenda came down with it too on the way home Saturday. Thankfully the rest of us have been able to fight it off thus far. We so enjoyed my parents cruising with us and helping us out during that week to run the table, promote our new CD and during the women's conference. The women's conference was another great avenue of ministry while on the ship. We had approximately 100 women to show up bright and early (8:00 AM) for the conference. That is saying a lot for those who attended. That's real early on the cruise with all the late nights that we have. We were impressed with that number. God worked in the hearts of those who attended and we greatly appreciate all of you who supported this part of the cruise. Thanks to all of those who had to wake up early to work the sound, video camera, etc. GOD IS GOOD!

I'm sorry if this seems a little scattered. There's a lot going through my mind and I can't help if it doesn't come in order…LOL. I hope that you enjoy the blog. Be in much prayer for Labron, Pat, Angie, Janice and Brenda as they attend the NRB Convention this weekend. They are going to be attending classes that can further our ministry in realms that we have been praying about.

To those of you who have called about Debra. She is doing much better. She came through her back surgery last week and came home the next day. She is still in a lot of pain in her incision area. Please remember her when you pray. As of now, she has not felt any pain in her back. We ask you to pray that continues.

In Christ,
Brooke
