I'm not sure what to say except WOW! This year's marriage retreat was absolutley amazing. God really showed out this year. We were small in number, but God was HUGE in SPIRIT. The anointing in that place was so real all weekend. Couple's marriages were saved, changed, and healed! Labron and I went searching for answers and direction on some things too and He even spoke to us. All He wants is a willing heart and a listening ear. We just pray that every couple will apply what they learned this year and will come again next year.

We had a duck race (bride and groom), a car race (where each couple had to paint a car together and then race against other couples), a bon fire with testimony time, couple's dinner, and this year we had communion instead of renewing of vows. It was so sweet to watch each couple take communion together.

Thanks to everyone that helped pull this off. We had so many people behind the scenes working with us to make this conference what it was. The place (Shocco Springs) was wonderful, beautiful and the people were very friendly. The grounds were amazing. Quiet a few couples rented golf carts and rode all over the place. God's creation is so beautiful!

We are already planning for the next one, so if you're interested please contact our office at (770) 684-8987. Make sure you check out the videos on New Desire's facebook from the weekend. Pictures will come soon.

In Christ,
Brooke

Wow what a weekend!!! His blessings were just overflowing. Every marriage needs to attend and focus on God and what he has for each person as well as a couple. I challenge everyone to come and/or sponsor a couple. We need to do our best to keep the enemy from destroying families.

This was our first marriage retreat and it truly was a blessing for both of us. The time spent allowing God to work in our marriage will make it stronger thatn it was before the retreat. We are making plans to attend next years. This is something taht every married couple should attend, it will only make your marriage and your walk with God stronger. Hope too see you at next years retreat.
